Cloud computing and service models

Cloud computing and service models

Cloud computing and service models give people the chance to create their applications through the internet. Isn’t it? Is this true? Come on, let’s explore the beauty of cloud computing and its service models. Cloud computing provides the access to utilize the application that allows to configure and customize applications digitally. What is the cloud? The simple definition is, that it refers to a network. Or an internet which is present in remote areas of locations. Cloud also provides service over a network; it can be public networks or private networks.

It is WAN, LAN, VPN, and applications such as e-mail, web conferencing, and CRM (customer relationship program). What is cloud computing? Yeah, cloud computing describes as which manipulates, configuring, and accessing the application online. It is a combination of both software and hardware-based computing resources. It gives network service. Cloud computing holds huge online data storage, application, and infrastructure which is cloud computing architecture.

Cloud computing

Basic concepts of Cloud computing and service models work behind the scene. Which makes cloud computing accessible and feasible to end-users. We have two models of cloud computing such as deployment models and service models. Deployment models enable the type of access to the clouds. Like, how is the cloud located? It has four types of access, that is public, private, hybrid, and community.

The public cloud-like email, allows systems and services accessed easily by the general public and it may be less secure due to its openness. The private cloud helps to access and service an organization and has trustable security due to its privacy and secret nature. The community cloud allows the system and services to enable through the group of organizations. The hybrid cloud is the combination of a private cloud and a public cloud, and the performance of the private cloud is critical and the performance of the public cloud is non-critical.

Service model

Cloud computing and service models can be categorized into three service models because service models are the reference model on which cloud computing is based. The three services are IaaS (infrastructure as a service), PaaS (platform as a service), and SaaS (software as a service). Infrastructure is the most basic level of service that uses an underlying service model.

This is a service model which delivers technology infrastructure as on demanded service and provides access to the most essential resources such as physical machines, virtual storage, virtual machines, etc., it also offers load balances, IP addresses, software bundles, and virtual local area network. It has both benefits and issues under IaaS. Examples are NTT communications, Terremark, and OpSource. PaaS provides the runtime surrounding applications, development, and deployment tools with all facilities required to support the entire life cycle of uplifting the service from the network. It holds the benefit of a lower total cost of ownership.

Service models

The software as a service model allows using of software applications as a service to end-users. It contains modest software tools and uses efficient use of software licenses. The platform’s responsibilities are managed via providers because sometimes under private control. There are advantages when you use the cloud, i.e., its lower computer costs improve performance, reduces software costs, improve document format compatibility, unlimited storage capacity, increased data reliability, universal document access, latest version availability, and device independence.

It creates an account with a username and password, content lives with the account in the cloud, and logs onto any computer with the help of Wi-Fi to find your content. To start the process, first, download a cloud-based app on your computer. Save files to the app when connected to the internet it will automatically sync with the cloud. And the least important one to remember is the cloud can be accessed from any kind of internet connection. Cloud computing and service models are the best to get easy access to the application online. Cloud computing is loud computing!
