If I contact you for a speaker, am I guaranteed to have a DigitalVillager speak at our event?
DigitalVillagers love accepting on speaking engagements, but unfortunately, there aren’t enough speakers to accept to every event so we won’t be able to guarantee a speaker for your event. But we try our best to accommodate you before saying no.
What would make my event request a good fit for DigitalVillage?
We decide that an event is a good fit if the opportunity is worth the investment on our time. For example, if an engagement is out-of-city other, it may require more travel time and costs, so we like to speak to larger audiences of about 200+ attendees. Typically, events with fewer than 75 attendees won’t be a great fit. We also consider the type and content of your event and the audience profile.
Do I have to pay for a speaker?
No, we don’t charge a speaker fee. If your organization pays for speaker travel or lodging, we greatly appreciate it. but do not require any cost on your part as a speaker fee. Because we love sharing our knowledge, experience and expertise for our community.
